Wreck the Halls

ONE LINE SUMMARY: A neighbor appears to have killed her violent husband, but Jake and Ellie discover the truth.

I enjoyed this one, but I finally figured out what bothers me about this series. The most realistic character is Monday, the dog. Everyone else is a bit too animated to be real, and Jacobia’s tendency to go off into certain trouble is definitely not what a real person would do–especially after 5 books of doing the same things and running into danger.
