Easter at the In-Laws’
This year, Chris celebrated Easter by forgetting how to get to his parents’ house. After two hours of travel, he turned down a road and drove down it for a few minutes before deciding he was going the wrong way. He turned around and got back on the main road and drove down that for a while. A few more minutes later, he turned around again and went back to the first road when he realized it had been the right way after all.
While Chris was getting lost, Flacko celebrated Easter by puking up his entire breakfast in his crate.
Mina celebrated by trying to eat his puke, having declined to eat her own breakfast earlier in the day.
I celebrated by washing the chunks out of the puked-on dog blanket when we arrived at Chris’s parents’ house. I was lucky enough to have more celebration when we returned home the next day and I put my hand on another dog blanket, only to discover some dog had puked watery stuff on it at some point during the weekend.
Later it was discovered that this new vomit was actually diarrhea. Chris was playing a computer game with Paco on his lap, and noticed that Paco was really farting up a storm. Sadly, he found out that the reason the fart smell was lingering was because Paco had quietly celebrated the end of Easter by having diarrhea on Chris’s sweatpants.
Happy Easter.
