Anansi Boys
by Neil Gaiman
ONE LINE SUMMARY: Fat Charlie comes to terms with who he is, who his brother is, and who his father was when his father, Anansi, the God of Stories, dies.
I’m a little puzzled. This book is marketed as being hilarious and terrifying, so I thought there would be a lot of that “end-of-the-world” stuff. Turns out this book is hilarious, and well-written, and enjoyable, but there wasn’t anything remotely terrifying about it.
This is a good book, but a little overhyped.
