In an effort to improve relations between themselves and the human relatives who feared the Chi Gang might poop willy-nilly on their carpets, the Chi Gang had agreed to participate in a fashion show to demonstrate how similar the two groups were. One poodle in the audience was so moved that before she could contain herself, she shouted “Fifty biscuits for him!” before she was subdued by her friends.

Pedro was understandably nervous at following such a success, but he managed to tremble his way onto the stage. Mina, on the other hand, was ready to give RuPaul a run for his money. She sauntered out in a daring purple ensemble by Poochi, and the oohs and aaahs from the envious crowd spurred her to greater heights!

“And turn, and turn,” she whispered to herself. Ah, if things had been different, and she’d had a competent lieutenant under her, she could retire to the glittering world of the fashionati! Alas, it was not meant to be.

But one day in the limelight was enough for her, and they had proven themselves by not pooping on the dogwalk.
